After two consecutive hits as a director, Venkat Prabhu is under a lot of pressure to repeat the act with his third movie, Goa. The title alone tells us the movie is going to be quite as exciting and enjoyable as is a holiday in the laidback state known for its glamorous beaches and warm people.
From the trailer, we fathom that the movie is once again about a bunch of friends and their misadventures - the basic theme of Venkat’s previous flicks, a theme that proved successful each time.
We’ve also seen Sneha in the trailer, grooving and looking quite ravishing. But what’s been the biggest surprise is Nayantara’s role in the movie. Word has it that she plays a village girl, and the few scenes in which she joins the boys is when the excitement reaches its pinnacle. Watch out for this fun 2010 Pongal release; it has all the makings of a laughter riot!
