Dhanush is currently acting in the film Mappillai. This is the remake of Rajni starrer Mappillai. Hansika Motwani is debuting as a heroine in this film. She had done lead roles in Kannada films.
Out of 10 films she had acted, 8 films were hit. The shooting of the film is to commence soon. There was news that Nayanthara will be acting in few scenes. There was also news that she will be featuring with Dhanush in one song.
Nayanthara had paired with Dhanush in the film Yaaradi Nee Mohini. She had also danced for a song with Rajni in Shivaji. It is understood that she was forced to dance in Mappillai also. When asked Dhanush about this, he said,” I don’t understand that how these rumors are spread.
There was no intention of making her act or dance in this film.” Nayanthara’s close circle also says that there is no news like this. Nayanthara is currently acting with Arya in the film Boss Engira Baskaran. The shooting of this film is taking place in Kumbakonam.
